Her Healthy Home

Her Crowded Table

The smartest cookbook you'll ever use. Zero guesswork. Zero stress.

46 nutrient dense, nostalgic recipes

A nutrient dense recipe book for holiday gatherings — the nostalgic food you grew up on, the kind that tastes like walking into grandma's kitchen, made with real ingredients your body actually wants. With a grocery list that builds itself and a cooking schedule counted backwards from the hour you're eating. Minimal time, simple ingredients, less stress.

It does the thinking so you can do the celebrating.

Two ways to get it: $47 on its own, or included with my meal plan at $27/month.

A holiday you actually remember

By the time everyone's coats are piled on your bed, the oven is doing its quiet work and there is nothing left on the counter that needs you. You're standing in your kitchen with a drink in your hand, listening to your people fill the house.

Room to sit down while the food is still hot. Room for the house to smell like butter and cinnamon and your childhood. Tired in the good way — not the overwhelmed way.

That's the room this cookbook makes.

Bring your own

Grandma's recipes go in the book too

The handwritten cards in the back of your drawer are the whole holiday. Add them here and they stop living in one shoebox in one house.

1

Photograph the card

The index card in her handwriting, the page torn out of a church cookbook, the back of an envelope. Snap it.

2

It gets typed up for you

Ingredients, amounts and steps read off the card and written out clean. Anything it can't make out, it flags so you can fix it in a second.

3

Then it behaves like the rest of the book

Scale it for a full house, drop it into your menu, and its ingredients land on the same grocery list as everything else.

Yours stay private to you — the original photo kept right alongside the typed version. If you want to, you can share one into the heirloom collection, where every other woman with the cookbook can cook it and see whose kitchen it came from.

What it actually is

A cookbook that does the math for you

The recipes are the easy part. What makes hosting hard is the planning — so the book does that part for you.

01

Nothing to download, nothing to lose

It opens like a website on your phone, propped against the flour canister, or on the laptop at the kitchen table. No PDF buried in your Files app, no printing, no hunting for it next November. You buy it once and it's simply there, in your account, every holiday after this one.

02

The scaling is already done

Tell it how many people you're feeding and every ingredient amount rewrites itself — six, eleven, twenty-two, whatever your table actually looks like. No doubling in your head, no math on the back of an envelope at 6am on Thanksgiving morning, no guessing whether one pan is enough.

03

One grocery list instead of eleven tabs

Tap the dishes you're making, type in how many people are actually coming, and it scales every recipe and merges everything into a single list sorted by aisle — butter with butter, herbs with herbs. One trip. Nothing forgotten in the cart at 5pm the night before.

04

It tells you when to start

Give it the hour you're eating and it hands you the whole day backwards: what to do the night before, what goes in the oven at 1:40, what needs to rest. It warns you when two dishes want the oven at different temperatures at the same time — and you tick each step off as you go, so you never lose your place while people are talking to you.

Three recipes, in full, on me

Not a teaser — the whole recipe, exactly as it appears in the book. Open one, cook it this week and decide from there.

Braised Short Ribs with Red Wine

26g protein · 380 cal · 1-2 short ribs

Bone-in short ribs seared and braised low with red wine, bone broth and herbs.

Open the full recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs bone-in short ribs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or grass-fed butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 cups beef bone broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Season the short ribs generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil or butter in a large oven-safe pot over medium-high heat. Sear the short ribs on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add onions, carrots, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the red wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add beef broth, rosemary, thyme, and the seared short ribs. Bring to a gentle boil, then cover and transfer to the oven.
  7. Braise for 2½ to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and falling off the bone. Adjust seasoning if needed before serving.

Soft pumpkin snickerdoodles with white chocolate chips, rolled in cinnamon sugar.

Open the full recipe

Ingredients

  • — Cookies —
  • ½ cup pumpkin purée (blotted with paper towels to remove excess moisture — do not skip)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips
  • — Coating —
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, pumpkin, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolk and vanilla; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the coating sugar and cinnamon. Scoop the dough into balls, then roll each in the coating.
  7. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 14 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers look slightly soft.
  8. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Warm Mulled Cider

0g protein · 100 cal · 1 cup cider

Cider simmered with orange, cinnamon, clove, star anise and ginger — the whole house smells like fall.

  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced

  • Optional: ¼ cup dark rum or bourbon

What you're actually buying

Room to sit down at your own table

We've done all the hard parts for you so that by the time everyone's coats are piled on your bed, the oven is doing its quiet work and there is nothing left on the counter that needs you.

Instead, you're standing in your kitchen with a drink in your hand, warm from the oven, listening to your people fill the house you prayed they'd come back to someday.

That's the room this cookbook makes.

Room to sit down while the food is still hot with the people who make life really matter.

Room to let your kids or grandkids stand on a chair and stir something with zero stress, because you're not behind at all.

Room for the house to smell like butter and cinnamon and your childhood.

And when it's over, you're tired in the good way.
Not in the exhausted or overwhelmed way.

You wiped the counter, you kissed people goodbye, and what you'll remember about this one isn't the timing or the panic — it's the table, and the noise, and how full it all felt.

Her Crowded Table does the thinking so you can do the celebrating.

Full bellies, and a table far too crowded.
But one you wouldn't trade for the world.

Before you ask

Questions

Is this a physical book?

No — it's digital, and that's the point. A printed book can't rescale a recipe for 18 people or build your grocery list. This opens on your phone right there on the counter.

Do I need a subscription?

Not for the cookbook. It's a one-time $47 purchase, yours permanently, and it doesn't renew. The only subscription on this page is the optional meal plan below.

Which option should I pick — cookbook or meal plan?

Just want holiday recipes? Get the cookbook for $47. Want help with dinner all year? Join the meal plan for $27 a month and the cookbook is included. The meal plan has a three-month minimum ($81 total), then you can cancel any time. The cookbook stays yours either way.

Is this 'health food'?

It's real holiday food made with whole ingredients — short ribs, baked brie, pecan pie bars. Nutrient dense, not diet food. Macros are listed where they're useful, and you're free to ignore them.

How does it know my timing?

Every recipe carries its own prep time, cook time, oven temperature and resting time. When you tell it what time you're eating, it counts backwards through all of them and gives you one schedule with real clock times — plus a night-before list.

I'm not a confident cook.

Then this is for you. Every recipe is numbered steps in plain language, most run 3 to 7 steps, and nothing needs special equipment.

What if I already have the membership?

The cookbook is separate. Buying it adds it to the same account, so it sits alongside everything else you already have.

“made the sweet potatoes sunday. ate them cold out of the pan monday morning. no regrets”
